Christmas lights are usually just some nice decorations to show everyone how much Christmas spirit you have in yourself. Yeah, they were nice to see, but past years I never really paid much attention to them. This year I wanted to go Christmas lights seeing past midnight (about the time when there are barely any cars on the streets so I can just stop in the middle of the road and enjoy the lights) but something always came up. There was always something; whether there were plans or my mom didn’t want me going alone at night or I didn’t want to be out in the cold. Now people have been taking their lights down so there are barely any decorations up. I was driving home tonight and there was one house that was nicely decorated and so I just stopped there for a couple minutes. It was really nice, but it just made me wish I made the time or actually followed through with it. I guess all I can do is wait for next year and make sure I get off my lazy butt and go looking.
